IIELTS (International English Language Testing System)
Whether you are planning to move abroad or applying for admission to an overseas university, an acceptable IELTS score is an essential part of both immigration and admission process.
IELTS is the world’s proven English test. Over 1.4 million candidates take the test each year to start their journeys into international education and employment.
IELTS is recognised by more than 6000 institutions across 120 countries.
What is IIELTS ?
IELTS tests the complete range of English language skills which will commonly be encountered by students when studying or training in the medium of English and for immigration purposes. All candidates are tested in listening, reading, writing and speaking. Everyone takes the same listening and speaking test but the reading and writing tests vary according to the module.
How to register for an IIELTS test?
If you are planning to move to Britain, Australia, Canada or New Zealand you may be asked to take it for immigration purposes. IELTS is widely accepted by the academic institutions in these countries and in the United States it is gaining recognition as an alternative to TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Many universities will not consider your application these days without an acceptable IELTS score.
How much will IIELTS costs?
The standard IELTS fee is deposited in the British Council account at any Standard Chartered Banks. Candidates residing in cities where there is no British Council office can submit their IELTS test fee through a bank draft drawn in favour of the appropriate British Council office.
